Bleach Kenpachi and yachiru
How did Bleach kenpachi meet Yachiru? Yachiru initially met Kenpachi in one of the worst districts of Rukongai, the district no 79 of the North Alley, Kusajishi, as a no name child. She crawled over to him. It was after he killed several other opponents with his unnamed Zanpakutō. And he was completely unfazed by the violence she had just witnessed, or the blood on his sword.
Kenpachi is a tall muscular shinigami with a wild and aggressive appearance, which fits his personality. He has a long face with pronounced cheekbones and pronounced, hairless brow ridges, he has green eyes and long, stringy black hair. A noticeable trait in his appearance is a long, thin scar running down the left side of his face and across his left eye, inflicted on him by Retsu Unohana while he was still a child. In addition to the standard shinigami uniform, he wears white bandages across his midsection and a sleeveless captain’s haori that belongs to the previous captain and was taken from him after defeat, which has a rugged look to it. He styles his hair into stiff strands during his baths, attaching small bells at its tips, he also wears a special black eye patch over his right eye. During his first battle with Ichigo, the eye patch was more elegant, having a gold-like lining and a chain as one of the straps, he also wore a black choker which was later removed, he later gave his eye patch normal straps.
Yachiru & Bleach Kenpachi
Although he is known as a very violent fighter, Kenpachi’s actions tend to be the very best for him and his team too, he lives for battles and he enjoys a good fight more than anything. He even holds back deliberately in a fight to make the battle last longer than it’s supposed to, he always claims that injury and death are nothing more than a victory reward that comes after a battle but despite his tendency for a good fight, Kenpachi always stops a fight if his opponents are injured or too tired to continue the battle claiming he is not interested in fighting weaklings who can’t fight anymore and he does not feel obligated to deal a death blow on anyone who can not fight again, however, he will unhesitatingly kill his opponent if they refused to end the fight on their own accord.
He also takes his title as Kenpanchi very seriously telling Gremmy Thoumeaux that there is nothing the latter create that he can’t create a better version of because the power of his title is not one to be taken lightly.
Kenpachi’s unique hairstyle is partly done due to his habits of taking a bath regularly every night before going to bed which is a huge necessity for him due to his heavy ad strong perspiration, during these baths he usually washes his hair with soap making it stiff, he likes doing so because it’s easy for him to see his hair in his preferred style designs, he also once used a hair treatment that was recommended by 1st division lieutenant Chojiro Sasakibe, but his hair becomes too silky and impossible to style for a little while. Since then Kenpachi disliked the lieutenant a great deal. Kenpachi attached the balls to his hair by himself which also takes a while to accomplish. The highest ball, in particular, takes him several hours to attach as the tip of the hair is just beyond his reach, he refuses to get help as he thinks it is weird for someone else to make his hair.
Power
Kenpachi sometimes contradicts his own believes in fighting, on one hand, he wishes to increase his power, on the other hand, he hides his power for him to enjoy fights more or for as long as possible sometimes although he lives and thrives for battles, a little known to others, Kenpachi does have emotions. Kenpachi and his lieutenant, Yachiru have been close ever since they met, they have a father-daughter relationship, thereby making Yachiru one of the very people he loves and cares for. However he stated that if his subordinates interfere in his fights ‘he will cut them off first’ aside from Yachiru, Kenpachi gives deep meanings to his name and title. Following his fights with Ichigo, Kenpachi talks about the pains of not having a name, as he lived early years without one, this causes him to feel guilty that his sword is not acknowledged by its name, since then he has made an effort to learn his own identity.
Kenpachi strongly believes fun comes from working, a perfect example is when he sent his 5th seated officer, Yumichika, to fight off the bounty in Karakura town as he is the only high-ranking officer who was not busy at that time or rather busy having fun at that time. During his free time, he always takes his afternoon nap, he does not have a particular favourite dish but he particularly hates natto. That is all about Bleach Kenpachi and yachiru.
